About Selah Support Foundation

The Selah Support Foundation encompasses an interconnected chain of humanitarian non-profit support services.

The Selah Series deals with teachings on relationships, marriage, sexuality, parenting, counselling and holistic family life. The Selah Series team and support system involve leaders in the Christian faith, erudite scholars, technocrats and elite administrators.

The Emerald Light Initiative (ELI) seeks to ensure better lives for adolescent mothers and their vulnerable children by leading campaigns against stigmatisation, counselling, vocational training and return to school grants, material and financial support for adolescent mothers. ELI is also concerned with preventing unwanted pregnancies among young adults.

In partnership with sister organisations, churches, groups and reputable community leaders, the Foundation has continued to float empowerment projects and interventions via the Grey Hair and Gems Initiatives.

The Grey Hair Initiative takes care of older people in Nigerian communities who are made vulnerable by abject poverty, ill health, neglect and subpar social status.

The Gems Initiative is concerned with providing need-based support for the young ones – teenagers and youths. In the long term, we are reassured that the Gems Initiative will morph into an empowerment status – because poverty will eventually give way to breakthroughs for God’s people. How to get there involve vision, mentoring, multilevel partnerships, collaborations and networking.
